Steven Klein - 2014 Recipient of ICP Infinity Award (By Ashton Cooper)

The International Center of Photography has named the six 2014 Infinity Award winners to be honored at its April 28th gala. German-born South African photographer Jürgen Schadeberg, whose show "Rise and Fall of Apartheid" was at the ICP last year, will accept the most significant prize - the Cornell Capa Lifetime Achievement Award.

The art photography award will go to Los Angeles-based postmodernist James Welling; the fashion award to New York-based photographer Steven Klein; the photojournalism award to Stephanie Sinclair and Jessica Dimmock for their work on child marriage; the publication award to Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin for "Holy Bible"; and the young photographer award to Samuel A. James, who divides his time between the U.S. and Nigeria.

"It is with great joy that we honor this remarkable pool of talent," said ICP Executive Director Mark Lubell in a press release. "This year's recipients have each made significant contributions to the field of photography and the powerful way in which the image is viewed and interpreted around the world."
